School Issues

Children spend the majority of their adolescence in school so it is perfectly understandable why they might have troubles in the school setting. Some children may have a hard time paying attention in the classroom, be unmotivated to do their schoolwork, have difficulties making friends, or have problems listening to their teachers. Psychotherapists who work with children with school issues are not the same as tutors; tutors focus on academics while therapists use a broader approach and teach child coping skills and provide them with resources to directly address their problems.
